Turnover in the F&O segment drops
The Nifty November 2018 futures traded at 10,042.95, a premium of 12.95 points from the Nifty's closing of 10,030 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 5.07 lakh crore, sharply lower than Rs 18.72 lakh crore in the previous session. The October 2018 F&O contracts expired today, 25 October 2018.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 94.90 points or 0.94% to settle at 10,030.
Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Reliance Industries November 2018 futures traded at 1,046.90, at a premium over spot closing price of 1,042.45. Bajaj Finance November 2018 futures traded at 2,324.70, at a premium over spot closing price of 2,323. ICICI Bank November 2018 futures traded at 314.65, at a premium over spot closing price of 314.30.
The November 2018 F&O contracts expire on 29 November 2018.
