NTPC announces change in directorate & change in statutory auditors

On 26 August 2014

NTPC announced that the following:

1. The three years' tenure of the following non-official part-time Directors, who were appointed by the President of India through Letter dated 26 August 2011 of Ministry of Power, has been completed on 25 August 2014:

S.B. Ghosh Dastidar
R. S. Sahoo

Accordingly, these Directors have ceased to be the non-official part-time Directors of NTPC w.e.f. 25 August 2014.

2. The Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, through Letter dated 30 July 2014 has appointed the following firm(s) of Chartered Accountants as the Joint Statutory Auditors of the Company for the year 2014-15:

1. M/s O P Bagla & Co., Chartered Accountants, New Delhi
2. M/s. P S D Associates, Chartered Accountants, New Delhi
3. M/s P K F Sridhar & Santhanam, Chartered Accountants, Hyderabad
4. M/s V. Sankar Aiyar & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai
5. M/s Ramesh C Agrawal & Co., Chartered Accountants, Allahabad
6. M/s A R & Co., Chartered Accountants, New Delhi

Thus, M/s K.K. Soni & Co., Chartered Accountants, New Delhi have ceased to be the Joint Auditors of the Company and in their place M/s P S D Associates, Chartered Accountants, New Delhi have been appointed as Auditors for the year 2014-15.
