Offshore direct investment from India eases in December on m-o-m and y-o-y basis

Overseas direct investment (ODI) from India came down in December 2013 compared with both m-o-m basis and y-o-y basis. ODI from India slows down to around $1.58 billion in December from $2.28 billion in November, according to the recent data released by Reserve Bank of India.

Offshore investment by Indian companies in December included $383 million in equity, $192 million in loans and $999.59 million in bank guarantees.
