OK Play India gained 1.73% to Rs 152.50 at 11:40 IST on BSE after the company said that it has developed a plastic body green e-rickshaw.
The announcement was made during market hours today, 18 December 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 150.04 points, or 0.58%, to 25,654.33.
On BSE, so far 21,035 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 31,180 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 153.80 and a low of Rs 150 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 175.70 on 19 May 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 101.70 on 7 January 2015.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 17 December 2015, gaining 12.12% compared with Sensex's 0.23% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 17.57% as against Sensex's 0.62% fall.
The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 17.98 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
OK Play India intends to launch its innovative range of new product line at Ev Expo, an exhibition focusing on e-rickshaw, to be held from 24 to 27 December 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
OK Play India reported net loss of Rs 1.03 crore in Q2 September 2015 compared with net loss of Rs 2.46 crore in Q2 September 2014. Net sales rose 81.1% to Rs 13.49 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
