Orient Press standalone net profit rises 35.09% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 2.06% to Rs 46.55 crore

Net profit of Orient Press rose 35.09% to Rs 0.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 2.06% to Rs 46.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 45.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 16.81% to Rs 2.78 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.49% to Rs 189.85 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 203.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
