Pratibha Industries rose 8.18% to Rs 42.30 at 14:25 IST on BSE on reports the company has won a Rs 1000 crore water supply contract in Telangana.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 172.26 points, or 0.64%, to 26,957.81.
On BSE, so far 6.12 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 1.66 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 43.50 and a low of Rs 38.20 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 60 on 13 November 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 32.95 on 8 September 2015.
On consolidated basis, Pratibha Industries' net profit fell 16.2% to Rs 9.24 crore on 26.1% growth in net sales to Rs 870.94 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
