RBI Announces Special Open Market Operations Simultaneous Purchase and Sale of Government of India Securities
Capital MarketOn a review of current liquidity and financial conditions, the Reserve Bank has decided to conduct simultaneous purchase and sale of Government securities under Open Market Operations (OMO) for an aggregate amount of Rs 20000 crore under purchase and Rs 15,000 crore under sale on March 10, 2021. These include 5.15% GS 2025, 7.17% GS 2028, 5.85% GS 2030 and 7.57% GS 2033.
