From Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage & Infrastructure Corporation
SPML Infra in joint venture with Tata Projects have received three major new orders for design and construction of Sewerage System with provision of treated wastewater reuse from Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage & Infrastructure Corporation (RUDSICO) for 11 cities in Rajasthan for a total value of Rs 1275 crore.These projects are envisaged as decentralized sewage treatment projects similar to the ones being proposed under NamamiGange program. The treated wastewater reuse can provide alternative source of water, reduce pollution to ground water sources thus improving health and economic productivity.
The first order of Rs 480 crore is for the development of sewer system in Bharatpur, Gangapur, Hinduan and Churucities. The second order of Rs 417 crore is for the same inUdaipur, Nagaur, Sujangarh and Baran. The third order of Rs 378 crore is for the development of sewer system inChittorgarh, Beawar and Bundicities.
