Records total wheel rim sales of 11.14 lakh
Steel Strips Wheels announced that in August 2015, total wheel rim sales stood at 11.14 lakh compared to 11.59 lakh in August 2014, registering a decline of 4%.In terms of value, the Company achieved second highest gross turnover of Rs 119.44 crore in August 2015 compared to Rs 116.04 crore in August 2014, registering a growth of 2.93%. The Company achieved net turnover of Rs 107.63 crore in August 2015 compared to Rs 105.12 crore in August 2014, registering a growth of 2.39%.
Segment wise breakup of growth in volumes in August 2015 indicates that passenger car, truck and tractor grew 7%, 38% and 0.4% respectively. Exports declined 14%.
