Nifty June futures at premium
The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10610.15, a premium of 17 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10593.15 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment decreased to Rs 6.15 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.43 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 35.35 points or 0.33% to settle at 10,593.15.
Biocon, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Biocon June 2018 futures traded at 610, at a premium over spot closing price of 608.85. HDFC Bank June 2018 futures traded at 2054.95, at a discount over spot closing price of 2064.85. Reliance Industries June 2018 futures traded at 943.90, at a discount over spot closing price of 948.90.
The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
