Nifty October futures at premium

The Nifty October 2017 futures traded at 9915, a premium of 26.30 points over Nifty's spot closing of 9888.70 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 8.61 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.60 lakh crore registered yesterday, 4 October 2017.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 26.20 points or 0.26% to settle at 9,888.70, its lowest closing level since 3 October 2017.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation, BEML, Reliance Industries, Yes Bank and Aurobindo Pharma were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Dewan Housing Finance Corporation October 2017 futures traded at 562.70, at a premium over spot closing of 559.75. BEML October 2017 futures traded at 1728.10, at a premium over spot closing of 1725.

Reliance Industries October 2017 futures traded at 826.50, at a premium over spot closing of 824. Yes Bank October 2017 futures traded at 361.60, at a premium over spot closing of 359.95. Aurobindo Pharma October 2017 futures traded at 745, at a premium over spot closing of 744.25.

The October 2017 F&O contracts expire on 26 October 2017.
