TV Today Network drops on profit booking

TV Today Network fell 3.37% to Rs 103.25 at 09:19 IST on BSE on profit booking after gaining 27.66% in prior two trading sessions.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 103.04 points or 0.49% at 21,136.32

On BSE, 13,103 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 52,644 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 109 in intraday trade today, 5 November 2013. The stock hit a low of Rs 103.25 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 53.40 on 30 July 2013.

Shares of TV Today Network had gained 27.66% in two trading days to Rs 106.85 on 3 November 2013 from a recent low of Rs 83.70 on 31 October 2013. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 3 November 2013, surging 35.77% compared with the Sensex's 6.72% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, advancing 95.70% as against Sensex's 10.83% rise.

The small-cap news broadcaster has equity capital of Rs 29.73 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.

TV Today Network reported net profit of Rs 11.98 crore in Q1 June 2013 as compared to net loss of Rs 0.35 crore in Q1 June 2012. Net sales rose 25.9% to Rs 88.85 crore in Q1 June 2013 over Q1 June 2012.
