Va Tech Wabag consolidated net profit declines 2.78% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 5.48% to Rs 856.07 crore

Net profit of Va Tech Wabag declined 2.78% to Rs 68.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 70.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 5.48% to Rs 856.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 905.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 16.27% to Rs 92.19 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 110.10 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.68% to Rs 2542.05 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2428.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
