Volumes jump at Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals counter

Gujarat State Petronet, Avanti Feeds, Divi's Laboratories and Inox Leisure are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 10 August 2015.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals clocked volume of 7.83 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 18.07-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 43,000 shares. The stock jumped 12.24% at Rs 70.60.

Gujarat State Petronet notched up volume of 8.78 lakh shares, a 10.34-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 85,000 shares. The stock jumped 7.8% at Rs 134.80 after net profit rose 32.66% to Rs 112.76 crore on 10.95% rise in net sales to Rs 255.68 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014. The result was announced after market hours on Friday, 7 August 2015.

Avanti Feeds saw volume of 41,000 shares, a 8.16-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock jumped 17.54% at Rs 2,982.

Divi's Laboratories clocked volume of 50,000 shares, a 4.95-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock surged 5.46% at Rs 2,078.90 after net profit rose 45% to Rs 243 crore on 26% growth in total income to Rs 809 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014. The Q1 result was announced on Saturday, 8 August 2015.

Divi's Laboratories' board of directors at its meeting held on Saturday, 8 August 2015, recommended 1:1 bonus issue of shares i.e. one equity share for every share held as on record date.

Inox Leisure saw volume of 2.86 lakh shares, a 4.57-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 63,000 shares. The stock jumped 10.16% at Rs 257.
