Volumes jump at Dalmia Bharat counter

Infosys, Repco Home Finance, Multibase India and Pipavav Defence & Offshore Engineering Company are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 8 December 2014.

Dalmia Bharat clocked volume of 2.76 lakh shares by 12:25 IST on BSE, a 89.57-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 0.21% to Rs 499.50.

Infosys notched up volume of 16.55 lakh shares, a 11.91-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.39 lakh shares. The stock fell 4.40% to Rs 1,978.60 after founders pared stake in the company by selling their shares in the stock market today, 8 December 2014.

Repco Home Finance saw volume of 1.27 lakh shares, a 7.63-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 17,000 shares. The stock rose 3.68% to Rs 550.

Multibase India clocked volume of 2.23 lakh shares, a 5.31-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 42,000 shares. The stock rose 1.99% to Rs 241.35.

Pipavav Defence & Offshore Engineering Company saw volume of 17.05 lakh shares, a 4.46-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.83 lakh shares. The stock rose 5.85% to Rs 44.30
