Volumes jump at Jamna Auto Industries counter

Bharti Infratel, Divi's Laboratories, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, and Sun Pharma advanced Research Company are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 4 December 2015.

Jamna Auto Industries clocked volume of 31.49 lakh shares by 13:56 IST on BSE, a 23.74 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.33 lakh shares. The stock surged 8.93% at Rs 126.80.

Bharti Infratel notched up volume of 12.55 lakh shares, a 21.06-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 60,000 shares. The stock rose 1.51% at Rs 397.10.

Divi's Laboratories saw volume of 71,000 shares, a 6.62-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock rose 1.55% at Rs 1,142.95.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries clocked volume of 16.36 lakh shares, a 4.45-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.68 lakh shares. The stock surged 4.66% at Rs 760.80 after the company said that one of its subsidiaries has received final approval from US drug regulator for its generic version of Gleevec tablets. The announcement was made during trading hours today, 4 December 2015.

Sun Pharma advanced Research Company saw volume of 5.97 lakh shares, a 4.29 -fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.39 lakh shares. The stock surged 6.57% at Rs 370.60.
