Volumes jump at Uttam Galva Steels counter

Simplex Infrastructures, Jubilant FoodWorks, JBF Industries and Kellton Tech Solutions are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 5 October 2015.

Uttam Galva Steels clocked volume of 1.11 crore shares by 13:49 IST on BSE, a 856.56 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock was locked at 20% upper circuit at Rs 39.80 after a large bulk deal of 1.07 crore shares was executed at Rs 33.70 per share at the onset of the trading session on BSE.

Simplex Infrastructures notched up volume of 2.27 lakh shares, a 222.63-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock lost 0.46% at Rs 293.75.

Jubilant FoodWorks clocked volume of 3.96 lakh shares, a 30.89-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock rose 1.45% at Rs 1,665.

JBF Industries saw volume of 10.49 lakh shares, a 16.03-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 65,000 shares. The stock surged 5.05% at Rs 233.

Kellton Tech Solutions saw volume of 7.82 lakh shares, a 10.91-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 72,000 shares. The stock surged 19.25% at Rs 92.60.
