Welspun Corp plans joint venture with Wasco Energy

To set up a state-of-art concrete weight coating (CWC) plant at Anjar, Gujarat

Welspun Corp announced that it is entering into a joint venture with Wasco Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wah Seong Corporation Board, Malaysia. The joint venture company is to set up a state-of-art concrete weight coating (CWC) plant at Anjar, Gujarat. Welspun Corp will hold 51% and Wasco will hold 49% in the joint venture company.

The capital expenditure of the project forms a part of FY 2015-16 planned capex of around Rs 200 crore.
