Wonderla Holidays fell 0.26% to Rs 155.10 after the company informed that all amusement parks will remain closed till 31 March 2020 as a part of preventive measures against COVID-19.
The decision has been taken by the company in accordance with the safety and precautionary instructions outlined by the government to prevent and contain the spread of COVID 19, the company said in a statement during trading hours today, 20 March 2020.Wonderla Holidays reported 24.3% fall in net profit to Rs 10.99 crore on an 8% fall in net sales to Rs 69.98 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
The company operates three amusement parks in Kochi, Bangalore and Hyderabad under the brand name Wonderla.
The stock hit a record low at Rs 152.25 intraday today. The stock has corrected 51.67% from its 52-week high of 320.95 on 1 April 2019.
