More than 10 lakh people have enrolled as Aam Aadmi Party members till now since the party launched its free membership helpline number four days ago, senior AAP member Gopal Rai said here Tuesday.
Speaking to media, he said people in large numbers have joined the party through the membership helpline number by giving a missed call on it.
The number of memberships would have been more but the enrolment process was hampered due to some technical snag in the first helpline number (07798220033).
Rai said: "To tackle the technical issues, AAP has launched two more new numbers '08082807715' and '08082807716' so that people who wish to join the party do not face any difficulty."
