Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul on Friday administered the oath of office and secrecy to 13 parliamentary secretaries here.
They include 11 of the ruling People's Party of Arunachal and two Independent members - Tsering Tashi and Paknga Bage.
Jomde Kena, transport minister in the previous Nabam Tuki government, Chow Tewa Mein, Punji Mara, Phosum Khimhum, Alo Libang, Tapuk Taku, Gum Tayeng, Zingnu Namchoom, Jambey Tashi, Tatung Jamoh and Mutchu Mithi were the PPA legislators sworn in as parliamentary secretaries.
Chief Secretary Shakuntala Gamlin initiated the swearing-in ceremony.
Pul, who led a revolt against Tuki, was sworn in as the eighth chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh on February 19 after the Centre recommended that President's rule be lifted from the state.
On February 25, Pul won a vote of confidence in the 60-member assembly, whose effective strength is 58 following the expulsion of two Congress legislators.
On March 3, Pul and the 29 dissident Congress members merged with the regional PPA.
