15 IS fighters join Taliban in Afghanistan
A 15-member group of the Islamic State (IS) terror outfit has joined the Taliban in Afghanistan's Darzab district, police said on Monday.
'The 15 fighters who operated as the Ghazanfar group deserted IS ranks and joined the Taliban on Friday,' Xinhua news agency quoted a police official as saying.
Many members of the IS in Afghanistan are former Taliban fighters, according to the official.
