At least seven people were killed and over 30 others injured when their bus fell into a gorge on Monday in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The private bus with around 50 passengers was on its way to Anooppur from Rewa, when it went out of the driver's control and fell into the gorge in the Chakri valley.
Many people were trapped under the bus, while some others many to get out of the vehicle. A police team launched a rescue operation.
Seven bodies have been brought out of the bus, while there were over 30 injured people, Satna Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar told IANS.
The injured were admitted to a hospital in Rewa.
