The iconic grey-hued Howrah Bridge in West Bengal will be wrapped in shades of magenta to spike up the cricket fever during the forthcoming ICC World Twenty20 India matches in the city, organisers said on Wednesday.

"The magnificent bridge, which is a landmark of the city, will be lit up in the most prominent colour in the event logo for the duration of the tournament," a statement said.

Kolkata will host four matches in the Super 10s round, including the crunch India vs Pakistan match on March 19, and the grand finale on April 3 at the Eden Gardens ground.
