The Academy has announced dates for the next four years of its ceremonies in advance.
Next year, the 90th Academy Awards will be held on March 4. The next ceremony will be held on February 24 in 2019. In 2020, the ceremony is set for February 23. In 2021, the ceremony will be held on February 28, reports variety.com.
The date for the 90th edition has been moved to March so as not to compete with the Winter Olympics in February.
Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd are negotiating with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to again produce the Oscars in 2018.
The Academy is also reportedly interested in having TV show host Jimmy Kimmel back as the ceremony's host.
