A 13-year-old Indian girl has succumbed to injuries she sustained in an Oct 7 road accident in Oman.
Aysha Takreem Yahya, a student of Indian School Al Muladha who was critically injured Monday in the accident in Barka, died Tuesday at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Muscat, the Times of Oman reported.
Aysha, whose family hails from the south Indian state of Karnataka, sustained severe injuries to her head when the car she was travelling in to school along with her three siblings and father collided with another vehicle.
Her father also sustained multiple fractures and is recuperating at a hospital.
Aysha's two brothers have been discharged while her sister, Khatija, is still undergoing treatment for leg fractures in the hospital.
