Administrative rejig in Tripura
The BJP government, in a major administrative reshuffle, transferred 52 Tripura Civil Service (TCS) officials, an official said on Friday.
The official said that among the 52, 24 were Block Development Officers and others were Deputy Collectors and officers of various ranks. The notification was issued on late Thursday.
"To refurbish the administration at the district and sub-divisional levels, this biggest ever administrative rejig was done," the official said.
Earlier, the state government, after the Bharatiya Janata Party-led ministry assume office in March, transferred most District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police.
