AIADMK's Maitreyan relieved from party post

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa Monday relieved Rajya Sabha member V. Maitreyan as the chief of the party's medical wing.

In a brief statement issued here, Jayalalithaa - who is also the AIADMK general secretary - said Maitreyan was relieved from his post.
