Ajax forward Bojan Krkic will be out for four to six weeks owing to a hamstring injury, the club has announced.
An MRI scan Tuesday revealed the 23-year-old Bojan has a tear in his left hamstring. He suffered the injury in the first minute of Ajax's 6-0 victory against Go Ahead Eagles last Saturday, reports Xinhua.
Bojan miss Tuesday's Champions League match for Ajax against one of his former clubs AC Milan.
The Spaniard moved to Ajax on a one-season loan deal from FC Barcelona this summer. He will now travel to Barcelona to start the first part of his recovery.
