AJSU leader killed by Maoists during rally

An All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) leader was shot dead in the state's Hazaribagh district while addressing a rally Saturday, police said.

Tileshwar Sahu, a senior AJSU leader, was gunned down by three people in Barhi in the district, about 140 km from the state capital Ranchi Saturday afternoon.

According to police, one person has been arrested and a weapon seized from him. Police added that the People's Liberation Front of India is said to have executed the killing.
