Actor Shiv Pandit managed to impress many with his performance in "Shaitan", but the impact that he left on actor-producer Akshay Kumar is turning out to be a fruitful one. The Bollywood star is said to have offered a three-film deal to the young actor.
Shiv, who was popular for his role as Hanuman Prasad, a corrupt cop in comedy TV show "F.I.R.", before he took to the big screen, will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay in action film "Boss".
"Akshay absolutely enjoyed seeing Shiv's performance on screen in 'Shaitan' and he thought that he would perfectly fit the character in 'Boss'. In fact after the audition, Akshay met Shiv in person and told him about his performance and offered him a three-film deal," said a source.
In "Boss", Shiv is paired with Aditi Rao Hydari. The project, directed by Anthony D'Souza, is co-produced by Viacom 18 Media Ltd, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde Productions. It is slated to release in October.

It's a wrap on 'Amar Must Die'!
Choreographer-filmmaker Remo D'Souza's action thriller "Amar Must Die" has been wrapped up in just three weeks.
The team is now closely working with a team of Hollywood editors to put together a slick flick. Actors Rajeev Khandelwal and Zarine Khan will soon come back together to dub for the film.
The team was shooting in Kalyan, and experienced hiccups during the shoot, including an accident and unfavourable weather, said a source. However, since an international team had to get onto the post-production work, the team was desperate to stick to schedule and wrapped up ahead of time.

Music is vital for Sonakshi
Actress Sonakshi Sinha, whose songs often manage to be among the chart-busters, says she is herself a big fan of music.
The "Lootera" actress was roped in as a guest editor on popular Indian music service Saavn, and she was more than happy to be in charge of the content on the online service for one full day.
"Music plays a big role in my life, and I'd like to thank Saavn's listeners for always supporting me. I hope they enjoy the music I've chosen, and then enjoy my film 'Lootera' as well," Sonakshi said in a statement.
Her "Lootera" released July 5 to positive reviews, especially for the actress's performance.
