Amit Khanduja new CEO of Reliance Games

Reliance Entertainment has appointed Amit Khanduja the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Reliance Games, effective from June 1, a company statement said here on Thursday.

Khanduja is at present serving as chief operating officer of the company, and will take over from outgoing CEO Manish Agarwal.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the mobile and digital media with specific focus on consumer marketing, product development, developer evangelism and digital monetization.

"Amit is a proven leader, and has built a strong foundation for innovation and growth. I am confident that under his leadership, we will chart a promising new phase of success in the global mobile and digital gaming space," said Reliance Group managing director Amitabh Jhunjhunwala.

Speaking on his new role, Khanduja said: "We have been on the forefront of delivering great consumer experiences on digital platforms over the past 36 months, and will continue on the growth path with renewed focus on new innovations and market expansions in this space."

Reliance Games is a leading publisher and developer of mobile games with block buster hits such as Real Steel, Real Steel World Robot Boxing, Pacific Rim among many others.

The firm has developed various mobile games in association with leading Hollywood studios such as Warner Bros, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, DreamWorks Studios and Legendary Pictures.
