West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Monday said actor Amitabh Bachchan - who was been conferred the Padma Vibhushan - was a legend and he deserved a Bharat Ratna.
"The Padma Vibhushan to Amitabh Bachchan is not enough. He is a legend in his lifetime. He deserves a Bharat Ratna," Banerjee said on her official Facebook and Twitter handle.
Bachchan, along with legendary actor Dilip Kumar, was Sunday named for the Padma Vibhushan honour on the eve of India's 66th Republic Day.
