Spanish tennis player Pablo Andujar defeated Russian Karen Khachanov to secure the second match for his team during their Davis Cup tie here on Friday. Spain are now just one victory away from qualifying to the Davis Cup World Group.
World No.32 Andujar won 6-3, 6-3, 6-2, following in the steps of his compatriot Tommy Robredo, who earlier defeated Russia's Andrey Rublev in three sets as well, reports Efe.
Spain still have three matches to go: two singles and one doubles match under the command of new captain Conchita Martinez.
