Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan, who is known for making commercial potboilers, says there is still time for her to explore the animation genre as she finds it "tough".
"Animated genre is difficult and I feel the movies that I make also are for kids. I don't have experience in making animation, so I have to learn animation first and then make it," Farah said in a statement.
She might have not made any animated films, but she did support an upcoming animated film "Motu Patlu - King Of Kings" by hosting a special screening here recently.
Farah also shared her personal connection with the film.
"Sometimes people call me and Shirish (her husband Shirish Kunder) Motu Patlu," said the "Happy New Year" maker.
"Motu Patlu: King of Kings", produced by Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd, Cosmos Entertainment and Maya Digital Studios and directed by Suhas D. Kadav, is about two best friends from Furfuri Nagar. These are popular characters from Hindi comic magazine Lotpot, and after a successful TV series on the same, its movie version is now set to enthrall cinema-goers, courtesy Ketan Mehta, Deepa Sahi and Anish JS Mehta.
Its screening was attended by Manoj Bajpayee, Shreyas Talpade and Zayed Khan with their children. Farah's brother Sajid Khan came with Kunal Kapoor.
Sajid said: "When I was a kid, people used to call me a cartoon. And now that I have grown older, people still call me cartoon."
The movie is releasing on Friday.
