Army chief in Japan, discusses defence cooperation

Indian Army chief General Dalbir Singh on Tuesday met Japanese military dignitaries and discussed issues of mutual concern pertaining to security and defence cooperation.

In a statement, the defence ministry said Gen. Dalbir Singh, who is on a four-day visit (November 16-19), will also visit defence installations and institutions of the Japanese Self Defense Force.

"Gen. Singh will also visit Camp Narasino, Camp Simosizu, Japanese Air Defense School, Camp Fuji and headquarters of the Japanese Middle Army," the statement said.
