Arsenal's Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez may be sidelined until the end of December due to a muscle injury sustained during a 1-1 draw against Norwich City in the 14th round of the English Premier League football tournament.
The 26-year-old player will undergo various medical tests in the next two days to assess the extent of his injury, but it appears that he could be out for three or four weeks.
Thus, the Chilean star will miss out on his side's crucial match against Olympiakos in the Champions League on December 9.
It is also possible that he will miss the upcoming Premier League games against Sunderland, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Southampton and Bournemouth over the course of this month.
Sanchez joined the long list of injured players of Arsenal.
They are currently in the fourth place of the Premier League standings with 27 points, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
