Actor Ashish Bisht is thankful that the trailer of his debut film "Shab" has been received well. He says he hopes to continue doing "meaningful" films.

"Shab" has been directed by Onir, and also features Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Suri and Arpita Chatterjee.

The film revolves around the search for happiness and love of multiple characters caught in the web of circumstances of an unforgiving and cold city.

Ashish said in a statement: "I am extremely honoured and excited that my work has been noticed and appreciated. It was an unbelievable feeling that after such long struggle I finally got my big break and it has turned out to be so fruitful.

"I am thankful to Onir and Sanjay Sir for giving me this chance to work in their film and also gave me any opportunity to work with Raveena ma'am, who is such a talented sweet actress."

"For a newcomer, working with such talented personalities is like a dream come true, we had such a great experience working for the film. Our film has got great responses from everyone and I am blessed for all the love which my fans have showered on me. I promise to work harder and do many more meaningful cinema like my debut film," he added.
