ASUS launches ZenWatch 2 on Flipkart

After a string of successes with its ZenFone range in 2015, ASUS in India on Tuesday launched two variants of its ZenWatch 2 on Flipkart.

Designed for those who want to be connected on the move with the help of their smart devices, the sleek and elegant ZenWatch 2 is available in two sizes -- 1.63 (WI501Q) and 1.45 (WI502Q).

"Consumers today wish to use gadgets that make their lives simpler by aiding their hectic lifestyles. The ASUS ZenWatch 2 achieves this through its features that make it possible for the users to manage their lives right on their wrists," Peter Chang, region Head South Asia and Country Manager for ASUS India said in a statement.

With the device one can control his/her smartphone's camera through viewfinder preview, gesture shutter and timer shutter.

ZenWatch2 comes with an option to mute an incoming call on the smartphone by covering it with your hand.

The ZenWatch2 also features "Find My Phone" for identifying your phone's location.

Ideal for businesspersons, it has "Business Helper" to quickly access upcoming agendas, mails, and call log right from your wrist

The ZenWatch 2 also doubles up as the user's health companion by tracking fitness activities with industry-leading accuracy.

The ZenWatch 2 works on a QualcommA¿ Snapdragon 400 processor with a 512MB RAM and has a 4 GB internal memory.

Available in interesting colours -- Silver and Gunmetal for WI501Q and Silver for W1502Q -- the watches come in two strap variants - rubber and leather.

The 1.63 (WI501Q) and 1.45 (WI502Q) watches are priced at Rs.14,999 and Rs.11,999.

ZenWatch 2 is available on Flipkart and will be sold at ASUS exclusive stores at a later date.
