Atletico Madrid returned to training on Thursday after Wednesday night's 1-0 victory against Athletic Bilbao in San Mames, while waiting to find out the fate of ace defender Diego Godin who sustained an injury in the La Liga match.
The Uruguayan international, who will undergo tests on Thursday and Friday to assess the extent of the injury, has a hamstring injury in the back of his right thigh, according to the first diagnosis in San Mames, reports Efe.
He was replaced 11 minutes into the game by Lucas Hernandez.
The defender will probably be out of La Liga match on Saturday against Malaga at the Vicente Calderon stadium and may also miss the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals against Bayern Munich, on April 27.
