Avoid central Delhi Friday, advises police

Delhi Police have advised people to avoid routes going towards central part of the city due to processions expected on the occasion of Good Friday.

According to advisory, there will be substantial gathering of people and vehicles in and around of the vicinity of the churches in new Delhi.

"Mass gathering of people is expected at Sacred Heart Cathedral Church, near the GPO roundabout in New Delhi district," said the advisory.

Motorists were also advised to follow the directions of the traffic policemen posted on roads to avoid inconvenience.
