Bahrain's parliamentary elections will be held Nov 22 and a second round, if needed, will be held Nov 29, media reported Tuesday.

King Hamad issued a decree in this regard Monday night. Voters can report to the poll committees and cast their ballots between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., the Gulf Daily News reported.

Elections at embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions abroad will be held Nov 18 and a second round, if needed, Nov 25.

Nominations may be submitted Oct 15-19 to the competent committees in different constituencies across the country.

Bahrain is home to around 290,000 expatriate Indians.
