A 19-member Bangladeshi officers' delegation visited Ghaziabad on Monday and interacted with the district administration officers to learn about the Indian administrative system.
Ghaziabad district magistrate (DM) Nidhi Kesarwani apprised the delegation at the collectorate about how the Indian district level administration functions.
She covered topics like developmental activities, welfare schemes, coordination system of different departments and role of the district magistrate over law and order as the chief executive of the district.
The Bangladeshi delegation also explained about their system to their India counterparts.
DM Kesarwani, ADM City Preetie Jaiswal, SP City Salman Taj Patil participated in the interactive session at the seminar hall of the collectorate.
