Barcelona's Brazilian defender Douglas Pereira will be sidelined for eight weeks after sustaining an injury in his right foot, the Catalan club announced in a statement on Thursday.
The Brazilian footballer underwent medical tests on Thursday morning., reports Efe.
Douglas participated in Wednesday's 0-0 tie against Villanovense in the first leg of the knockout phase of Copa del Rey.
The 25-year-old also suffered another injury last July and was sidelined for two months.
