A month before La Liga kicks off in Spain and two weeks before its next friendly tie against Tottenham, players were on Tuesday hard at work at its training grounds to get ready for the upcoming season.
Most players who had joined their national teams for the World Cup in Russia were still resting after the strenuous but exciting competition. So seven members of the reserve team stepped up to fill in the gaps, reports Efe.
"Under stifling July heat, the players worked out on pitch number 7 at the Barça training ground as they continue to get in tune for the 2018-19 season," said a team statement.
Barcelona is next set to battle it out against Tottenham on July 29 for the friendly International Champions Cup.
