Barcelona B forward Marc Cardona has promised to demonstrate "commitment and sacrifice" on behalf of his new club, Eibar SD.
Cardona, who comes to the Basque side on loan from Barça, said that he embraced the move to Eibar because it represented an opportunity to play in La Liga, reports Efe.
Eibar management told him that they wanted a player with his characteristics, Cardona said.
"I very much like to break into space, to get free, to reach the box and score," the forward said on Friday.
Club executive Fran Garagarza thanked Barcelona for doing the deal and said that Eibar was happy to secure Cardona on loan with an option to make the transfer permanent.
