Barlow's 'wild' example to contestant

Singer Gary Barlow, who is judging British reality show "The X Factor", reportedly stood up and started shouting to demonstrate to a contestant what it means to be wild.

Barlow was judging the auditions along with Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger, when an aspiring singer came in and sang a disappointing version of song "Let me entertain you".

Even though the performer called himself a rocker, the judges felt that he lacked the 'wildness' in him, reports thesun.co.uk.

"The judges didn't like him at first because he claimed to be a rocker but just didn't have anything wild about him. They asked him back in and Gary told him he had to be more of a rocker if he wanted to get anywhere on the show. He then stood up and tried to tip the desk over shouting 'like this', but it was screwed to the ground," a source said.

The other people on the set were confused about the reaction they should give.

"So he picked up a mug and smashed it, then grabbed his seat and sent it flying. He turned to this poor wannabe and said, 'I want to see some passion. Rock music is about passion and you aren't giving us any'."

"Everyone just looked at him with open jaws, not knowing whether to laugh or cry," the source said.
