The Golden State Warriors grabbed another victory, 115-89, over the Los Angeles Lakers Friday in a pre-season NBA game in Shanghai.
Despite the absence of injured Kobe Bryant, the game itself was quite spectacular as both teams contributed some dunks and alley-oops, Xinhua reported.
The Warriors, who beat the Lakers 100-95 in Beijing Tuesday, showed their dominance in the offence end. They established an advantage of 14 points at the end of the third quarter and extended it to 26 points till the end of the game.
While Stephen Curry wasn't as active as the previous game, scoring only nine points from 12 shots, Kley Tompson carried the team on his shoulder, notching a game-high 25 points including five 3-pointers out of six attempts.
"I got lucky, I got a lot of wild open shots created from my teammates pass, none of us had ego," said Tompson.
Paul Gasol and Chris Kaman have developed some chemistry, both players having six points and four rebounds in the first quarter.
Every now and then the spectators yelled "we want Kobe", however, the leading star of Lakers didn't show up until the fourth quarter. Although he sat on the bench for the rest of the time, he still triggered the loudest ovation from the crowd.
At the end of the game, Bryant greeted Shanghai native Yao Ming, who watched the game courtside along with his wife and daughter.
