Filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar, who made his debut in the southern industry with a short film, says he is now set to make a Malayalam film.
"I would definitely want to make a Malayalam film. In fact, I have been working on a couple of story ideas for Malayalam film. I definitely see myself making a Malayalam film very soon," Nambiar told IANS.
His debut film was a silent film titled "Reflections" starring Mohan Lal in the lead.
Nambiar, who is now busy promoting his film "Wazir", says the film demanded stars.
"The subject demanded stars so we already had Mr. Bachchan in our mind and Farhan (Akhtar) was in the top of the list. It was not that we will get stars, it's just that the story demanded it," he said.
The film also features Aditi Rao Hydari among others and is set to release on January 8.
