Bengal BJP vice president arrested for taking money
West Bengal BJP vice president Jayprakash Majumdar was on Saturday arrested for allegedly taking money from School Service Commission candidates with the promise of providing jobs.
A senior officer of the Bidhannagar Commissionerate of state police said the arrest came after Majumdar was grilled for about seven hours following a complaint by a candidate, Arup Ratan Roy.
